Most mayo brands are soy based, have vinegar or other ingredients that upset my stomach.
One day I tried hummus in my chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised. I use a local brand from Bunky’s cafe. Thankfully I can buy at Woodman’s grocery store too.
The possibilities are endless with all the hummus flavors out there!
Here’s what you’ll need and what I do.
Boil your tenders for 10 minutes or until cooked.
Allow to cool then shred into a bowl.
Add your hummus, celery and onions mixing well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate to marinate the flavors.
Enjoy as a sandwich or with some crackers.
